All the moisture is removed from brewed tea to create tiny granules of instant tea. The best way to store instant tea is to keep it away from all sources of moisture.   • Air-tight glass or plastic container
  • Measuring spoon
  • Masking tape
  • Permanent marker

Instructions

      Pour the contents of the jar, packet or can of instant tea into a clean and dry, glass or plastic air-tight container.

      Place a measuring spoon on top of the instant tea granules and fully seal the air-tight container.

      Add a label to the air-tight container by affixing a three inch strip of masking tape and writing the name or flavor of instant tea along with the expiration or "best if used by" date from the original packaging.

      Store the sealed container of instant tea in a cool, dark and dry place like a pantry or cabinet shelf.
