How to Set the Auto Answer Fax Feature on the HP J4580
Copying, scanning and faxing are just the basic features of your Hewlett-Packard (HP) J4580 All-in-One printer. The printer interfaces seamlessly with programs and applications on your Windows- or Mac-based system. The fax feature on the device is easily configured to receive faxes automatically or manually. Setting the HP J4580 to automatically answer incoming fax calls is done through the printer's display panel, and a special application or computer is not required. You can even specify the number of rings the fax machine should wait before automatically answering.
