If you want to create your own snow scene, you can make a miniature snow globe with only a few supplies.   • Baby food jar
  • Hot glue gun
  • Miniature snowman figurine
  • ½ tsp. glitter

      Clean out the baby food jar. Remove the lid and rinse it out completely with hot water and mild soap.

      Dry the inside of the jar completely. Plug in the hot glue gun and allow it to warm up for five to 10 minutes.

      Apply the hot glue to the bottom of the snowman. Place the snowman centered on the bottom of the baby food lid. Allow it to dry for 20 minutes.

      Fill the jar ¾ full with water. Add 1/2 tsp. of glitter to the jar.

      Place the lid on the baby food jar. Screw the lid on tight. Shake the snow globe to watch the snowfall.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can cover the lid with fabric or paint it to make it match your holiday décor.

  • Make a snowman from polymer clay and glue it to the bottom of the baby jar lid.

  • Purchase small snowman figurines at craft stores during the holiday season.

  • Be careful when handling a hot glue gun. Never touch the metal tip or the hot glue itself to prevent severe burns.
