How to Disable Write Protection on a Scan Disk

A scan disk refers to any type of storage medium that "scans" its contents by way of magnetic storage, such as a hard drive. Disabling write protection on these devices can be accomplished by modulating the jumpers that are present on the back of the physical drives or disks. This can be done in around 10 to 15 minutes, after which time you will be able to modify the data on the drive without a problem.
