How to Get Free Wireless Internet on My Dell Inspiron 1521
When using a Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop, there are many different ways you can connect to an internet source, one of which being through a Wi-Fi connection. Although you can set up a wireless network at home through an internet provider (you pay for this connection) it is possible to obtain free wireless. Often times you may have neighbors with an unlocked wireless source and many hotels, shops and restaurants provide free Wi-Fi.

Power on your Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop computer.

Right-click the wireless icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop. Select "Enable" from the pull-down menu. This powers on your Wi-Fi receiver.

Right-click the wireless icon again, but this time select to view all available Wi-Fi networks.

Scroll through the list of wireless networks until you find one without a lock symbol next to it. Click this wireless connection and select "Connect." Momentarily your Dell Inspiron 1521 will connect to the internet. A lock symbol means the Wi-Fi network requires a password. A network without a lock is password- free and anyone can connect to it.
