How to Remove a Nintendo DS Screen

The Nintendo DS Lite comes with two LCD screens to enhance the game play. The LCD screen that is attached to the lid can stop working if its wiring going through the hinge holding it to the top of the DS gets broken. You can remove the LCD screen from the top of the DS to repair the wiring or replace the LCD screen altogether. While removing the LCD screen voids the Nintendo warranty, it will let you more quickly repair or replace the LCD screen so that you can return to playing games.
