How to Convert AVI to VCD on OSX
Many people assume that you have to burn a video computer file to a DVD if you want to be able to play it on a regular DVD player. In reality, you can burn computer video files like .AVI files to a VCD, which is a video compact disc. You just have to make sure that this file is converted to the proper MPEG-2 file format before the burning process can begin. This can all be done using utilities that are native to the Mac OSX operating system.
