Instructions

    • 1

Draw a rectangle on the lid of the box 1 inch smaller than the lid on all sides.

    • 2

Cut along the two short lines and one long line of the rectangle to create a window flap. Fold the flap gently along the remaining line.

    • 3

Glue a piece of aluminum foil, shiny side facing out, to the flap. Smooth it out.

    • 4

Open the whole lid and flip over. If you have a flap lid, simply hold it open to expose the underside. Attach the plastic wrap or plastic sheet protector to the inside of the lid over the hole using tape or glue. Trim the plastic if necessary.

    • 5

Glue aluminum foil to the bottom and inner sides of the shoe box. Make sure the sheets are smooth.

    • 6

Cover the aluminum foil inside the box with black construction paper, gluing it to the foil. Allow to dry completely. To cook food, place the items inside the box with the flap open.
