It is important to be clear and concise when writing a science report. A science report should have a title page, table of contents, introduction, studies listing, discussion, conclusion and a list of references.    Check coffee websites.

   Make a template for your report. Create a title page with the title of the paper and your name. Create a table of contents with room for including the pages and their topics. Set up headings for Introduction, Discussion, Studies, Conclusion and References. Then create a document where you will record your notes; you can save it as "Notes" or "Research."

   Coffee history

   Visit the Coffee Science Information Center's site at http://www.cosic.org/. Read about coffee's history and its effects on health. Open your notes file and record information on the various health concerns addressed and about studies done. Cite the specific study titles, dates and writers who provided information.

   Health concerns and coffee

   Log onto the Coffee Science site at http://www.coffeescience.org/ and read about the health concerns addressed. Record your notes on studies done and results and place them in your notes document. Be sure you have specific information on study titles, dates and writers.

   Record your notes.

   Go to the Coffee Research Institute at http://www.coffeeresearch.org/about/overview.htm. Click on the "Science" tab to find information on the science behind coffee production. Record your notes in your file.

5. 

   Writing the report

   Print out your notes file and go over all of the material you've acquired. Begin typing the science report by writing an introduction about coffee's history. Write about the studies that were outlined in the various reports you've read. Highlight the methods and any information that came from the studies.

6. Discuss the information you've found. Address the health concerns in detail. Write a conclusion about the findings and provide a list of references.
