How to Make a Tennis Ball Sling Shot

A tennis ball slingshot makes a great toy for your dog.

If you've always wanted to make a tennis ball sling shot, look no further. You can use this fun toy to play fetch with your dog. You can also make a few of them to make up a new slingshot tennis ball game with your family.

Things You'll Need

• Tennis ball
• Two 24-inch sticks
• A large rubber band
• Two pieces of 8-inch string
• A long, clean sock

Instructions

1. With a rubber band, put the two sticks together at one end.

2. Tie a long sock between the two sticks on the open end. This will make the sling part of your slingshot.

3. Put a tennis ball in the middle of the sling.

4. Tie two strings on either side of the tennis ball. This will make a little holder shape for the ball to fit into.

5. To use your new slingshot, hold the end of the sticks that are secured together. Squeeze the top and bottom of the tennis ball, pull back and let go. The ball should soar through the air.
