Instructions

    • 1

Lay a solid-colored, square dishrag on your work surface. Roll one corner to the center. Place a straight pin in the roll to prevent it from unrolling. Roll the opposite corner to the center. Remove the straight pin.

    • 2

Turn the dishrag over, without unrolling the rolls. Fold the rag in half, bringing the pointed ends together. Note: The rolls will be on the outside. Insert a plastic Easter egg inside the folded end of the dish rag. This is the body end of the bunny. Wrap a rubber band around the folded ends of the rag, above the Easter egg, for the neck. This leaves two pointed ends loose on one side of the body.

    • 3

Hold the pointed ends together. Measure an inch out from the rubber band. Wrap another rubber band at this measurement. The 1-inch gap is the head of the bunny and the remaining points are the ears.

    • 4

Cut two 12-inch lengths of 1/8-inch wide ribbon. Turn the bunny over. Wrap one ribbon around the rubber band neck of the bunny and tie in a bow. Wrap the other ribbon around the rubber band at the base of the ears and tie in a bow. Turn the bunny back over. This is right side up.

    • 5

Fold the bunny head so the ears are sticking straight up. Apply hot glue between the head and the body to secure. Hold the head in place until the glue has cooled.

    • 6

Apply hot glue to the back of a 1/4-inch pink pom-pom and center it on the bunny's face. Apply craft glue to the back of two, 1/4-inch wiggly eyes. Place them on the face above the nose. Apply hot glue to the back of a 1/2-inch white pom-pom. Place the pom-pom on the folded back end of the bunny, for the tail.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remove the Easter egg and insert an ice cube for boo boos or a nut cup for party favors.
