Instructions

    • 1

Repair the major cracks in the surface of the concrete by applying a concrete-repair caulk. Use a caulking gun and add firm and constant pressure to the trigger to lay down a thick bead of caulk in any cracks that are a 1/2 inch wide.

    • 2

Smooth the concrete-repair caulk with a putty knife.

    • 3

Place duct tape on top off the expansion joints in the section that you want to repair. Firmly press the tape into the crevices of the joints.

    • 4

Pour 2 1/2 quarts of water as well as the entire contents of the bag of resurfacer in a 5-gallon bucket.

    • 5

Mix the contents of the bucket with a drill motor for two minutes.

    • 6

Pour the resurfacer onto the section of walkway and immediately smooth and spread with a flat steel trowel.

    • 7

Add texture to the surface by gently drawing a push broom across the walkway.

    • 8

Remove the duct tape from the joints.

    • 9

Allow the section of the walkway to dry for 24 hours before using.
