How to Reset an Electric Water Heater
An electric water heater that has stopped heating properly can make a shower or bath a dismal experience. If your water heater has suddenly stopped working, don't start looking for a good repair person just yet. The problem is most likely caused by the heater's thermal safety switch, which disrupts power to the heating mechanisms when the water heats above 170 degrees Fahrenheit.
