Fly a variety of authentic World War II aircraft in Heroes of the Pacific.

Heroes of the Pacific is a PC game that allows players to re-create the legendary aerial battles of the Pacific arena of World War II. The game puts you in one of several authentic fighting planes and tasks you with defending your fleet and taking down enemy pilots. While Heroes of the Pacific's graphics have been widely praised, there's a confusing lack of a graphics settings menu within the game. However it's still possible to adjust the graphics for Heroes of the Pacific; it's just done outside of the game itself.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the Start menu of Windows and navigate to your Heroes of the Pacific folder. By default, this is "Programs/Codemasters/Heroes of the Pacific."

    • 2

      Click "Graphics Settings."

    • 3

Change the screen resolution to suit your monitor's size and your computer's graphics capabilities.

    • 4

Set the other boxes to "Recommended."

    • 5

Click "OK," then restart your game of "Heroes of the Pacific."
