How to Fix a PC Virus Scan for Free
A PC virus scan is a legitimate process when run by a legitimate antivirus program. However, there are literally hundreds of fake antivirus programs designed to run false PC virus scans on your computer. These viruses will mimic a legitimate scan and notify you that your computer is infected. The virus will then attempt to procure your financial information under the guise of removing the infection, which doesn’t actually exist. In addition to attempting to procure your financial information, these viruses can slow your computer, change your Internet settings and drain your computer memory.
