Instructions

  1. On Clothing

    • 1

Mix water and a degreaser such as dish soap or laundry detergent in a spray bottle. Spray the stained area thoroughly and set it out overnight. If the affected area is large, you may want to leave it soaking instead.

    • 2

Throw clothes in washer. Add at least half a cup of degreaser. Wash in cold water.

    • 3

Let the clothing line dry. Putting it in the dryer makes it harder to remove any linger stains by setting them into the clothing with heat.

    On Hands

    • 4

Buy a clay facial mask. Treatments that include oatmeal work well.

    • 5

Apply to skin and let it sit for as long as the package recommends. While it sits, the mask should dry out your skin and absorb the diesel.

    • 6

      Repeat as necessary.
