How to Design Your Own Wedding Gown Games
If you are hosting a bridal shower or some other sort of pre-wedding get together, you might be interested in coming up with some gown-centered games to play at the party---budget-friendly games that can delight the fashionista, entertain the masses and fill up some time. Since you are in charge, you can do whatever you want, adjusting traditional games to your own preferences with the bride's personality in mind. Being familiar with a few basic ideas can help you on your party-planning way.

Invitation Identify how many guests will be attending the event. This will help you determine what quantities of supplies will be necessary to pull off whatever devious plans you have in the works.

2
Bathroom Tissue Execute a practice run during your planning stages. A popular take on the create-your-own-wedding-gown game is to divide guests into groups of four or five and have each group design a dress out of toilet tissue, tape and white yarn. Invite a friend over and make her a toilet paper dress, giving you an idea of how fun this game will predictably be in the minds of your guests.

Tissue Paper Introduce extra supplies and adjust the game rules accordingly. Depending on your budget and preferences, you might be interested in using butcher paper or gift tissue paper as the gown's foundation. You might also opt to bring in additional craft supplies such as artificial flowers or items tailored to the bride's hobbies or the overall wedding theme.

Bridal Party Ask the bride, after briefly introducing the game, if she approves of the idea. Unless you want the game to be a surprise, make sure the bride feels comfortable having her close friends participate. The bride may be aware of guests' special needs that will prevent them from physically being able to join in; modify your party plans as needed in light of any information you are given.

Tips & Warnings
You can have each group designate one of its members to model the wedding dress, or you can require groups to take turns dressing the bride herself. If desired, the bride can choose which dress is her favorite and the winning group members can be rewarded a nominal prize.
Hosts planning for a large party might find the quantity of paper needed to carry out the game to be wasteful. If you are concerned, you might be interested in using towels and sheets instead to make fun wedding dresses during the bridal shower or other event.
