How to Remove Antivir 2010 Virus
Antivir 2010 is a virus that disguises itself as a legitimate antivirus program. Antivir 2010 displays a message notifying you that your computer is infected and prompting you to download the Antivir 2010 program to remove the infection. This is simply an attempt to procure your financial information. In addition, Antivir 2010 may change your desktop settings, hijack your Web browser, slow your computer and flood your computer with popup advertisements.

End Infected Processes

Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

Click on the "Task Manager."

Click on the "Processes" tab.

Right-click on "antivir2010.exe" and click "End Process."
Delete Infected Registry Entries

Click on the "Start" menu.

Click on "Run."

Type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The Registry Editor will open.

Locate the following registry entries in the left pane of the Registry Editor and delete them. To delete a registry entry, right-click on it and select "Delete."

Unregister Infected DLL Files

Click on the "Start" menu.

Click on "Run."

Type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click "OK." The Command Prompt will open.

Type "regsvr32 /u UpdateCheck.dll" (without the quotation marks) into the Command Prompt and press ENTER.
Delete Infected Files

Click on the "Start" menu.

Click on "Search Files and Folders."

Search for and delete the following files. To delete a file, right-click on it and select "Delete."
