How Do I Stop Glasses From Fogging When Wearing Ski Goggles?
Many of those who ski with glasses know all too well how difficult it can be to keep them clear and free of fog. Too many times these skiers fight the on-and-off-again battle of fine tuning the glasses and goggles to see without obstruction. Even after getting glasses to un-fog, they still find it difficult to remove smears and smudges left behind from the murky fog that lingered on their spectacles. If you wear glasses on the slopes, there are some solutions that can help you see again.

1
Buy glasses that are a slight distance away from your face. This small gap will help to prevent fogging because air can flow freely between your face and glasses.
-
2
Buy over-the-glasses style goggles. Some manufacturers make special goggles for wearing over glasses. This type of goggle allows a tight seal to be formed around the face, preventing air from getting under the goggles and causing glasses to fog.

3
Put on your goggles before leaving the lodge or your car. Doing this will keep warm air trapped under the goggles and will help your glasses to stay clear and anti-fogged.
-
4
Keep goggles on the whole time you are outside and don't remove them when you are out in the cold air. Any time the goggles are removed, it creates the likelihood that your glasses will fog when the goggles are reapplied.

Apply anti-fog to the glasses before going outside. Anti-fog is a spray that coats goggles and prevents fog from accumulating. This can make life much easier when you wear glasses under your goggles.

Never wear goggles that are too tight over your glasses or they can damage the eyeglass frame.
Use only a glass-safe cloth to clean off fog. Paper products can damage and scratch your lenses.
