How to Fix a Sony Ericsson Walkman

The Sony Ericsson Walkman is a wireless phone that has a built in MP3 player. This allows you to carry just one portable device instead of stuffing your pockets with two. However, when using the Sony Ericsson Walkman you may run into a function issue now and then. You can correct these issues without much difficulty and by trying out a few troubleshooting steps.

Instructions

1. Check the cable connection running from the Sony Ericsson Walkman to either the computer or power port. If the cable isn't inserted properly your phone is not going to charge.

2. Keep the phone out of extreme heat and cold (below 41 and above 95 Fahrenheit). Your phone can become damaged and fail to function when too hot or too cold.

3. Select your frequency manually on the Walkman tuner to choose a radio station. Sometimes saving a station into the phone's programming can result in the phone not fully receiving the broadcast.

4. Press the "Volume" button on the Sony Ericsson to increase the volume on the phone. If the volume it set to zero you are not going to hear any audio.

5. Check the headphones connection on the Sony Ericsson Walkman. If the cable is not completely inserted into the headphone port you are going to lose audio volume and quality.

6. Use a small pin to press the "Reset" button if you're still having problems. Be aware that resetting the Walkman may delete all the files and settings on the device.
