5. Look at the zippers on the handbags. Authentic Gucci zippers will have the initials of the designer on the bag.

6. Ask for the certificate of authenticity and the location of the serial number. If the seller cannot provide you with this piece of paper or the serial number, you will need to consider the authenticity of the purse. Authentic Gucci bags will come with this certificate of authenticity. The serial number will often be located inside the Gucci bag.
