2. Enter a search for the name of the person at the 411 Canada website (www.411.ca). You can even try a reverse look-up if you know the person's phone number and you are seeking her address.

3. Invest in an online detective search. You can pay companies such as Net Detective to search public records. Fees for this service start at $29.

4. Place a free ad on Craigslist Canada. Place the ad in the Personals section and list the name of the person that you are seeking. If you know what general area he lives in, use the portion of the website dedicated to that area.
