How to Fasten Men's Sock Garters
Garters are used to keep socks from slipping down and bunching inside the shoe. Garters also rid the wearer of unsightly rolls of sock around the ankles, providing a neat and professional appearance. The garter was commonly worn before elastic became widespread. Eventually, elastic reduced the need for garters to hold up socks. The garter is still used by many men and is common for military dress attire. Does this Spark an idea?
