How to Increase Maximum Volume on your Laptop

1. Get VLC media Player. It is a special player that can override the limit set on your internal speakers in your laptop. It can also play just about any other file out there as well. It is also a free program that can be found online.

2. When you have downloaded the program there are 2 ways to increase the volume controls above 100%, 1) Change the max from on the player 2) Go into Audio and increase Volume Up. Both methods can bring the volume up by 4 times. Some other open source media players may have the capability

3. Install new audio drivers. By going to the manufacturer's site, you should be able to obtain new drivers that will increase the volume and quality of your speakers

4. Use your headphones. This is the easiest way to increase the volume to a show or song you can barely hear.
