Instructions

    • 1

Place the blade of a dull knife, such as a butter knife against the melted crayon stain and scrape off as much of the crayon from the surface of the fabric as possible.

    • 2

Lay a paper towel on a flat surface and then turn the fabric upside down on the paper towel so that the stain is against it.

    • 3

Spray the back of the melted crayon stain thoroughly with a spray lubricant that is designed to loosen stuck locks and metal. Allow the material to sit undisturbed for five minutes.

    • 4

Place 1 tsp. of liquid laundry detergent on the back of the stain and work it into the fabric using your hands to rub the fabric together.

    • 5

Place the fabric into a washing machine filled with hot water and laundry detergent. Use the amount of detergent recommended on the detergent bottle. Run a normal wash cycle and then remove the fabric from the washer.

    • 6

Allow the fabric to air dry.
