How to Make Wrinkle Lotion With Olive Oil

At around age 30, many women begin to notice fine lines forming around their eyes and mouths. While these lines may simply indicate laughter and the beginning of the aging process, women often want to hide or rid themselves of these lines. There are plenty of commercial options available, but they are often too expensive. One simple, inexpensive ingredient you can add to your beauty regimen is olive oil. Olive oil is rich in nutrients that moisturize dry skin and smooth out wrinkles, making your face look smooth again.

Things You'll Need

• Lemon juice or vinegar
• Plain yogurt
• Olive oil
• Bowl
• Spoon
• Cool water
• Soft cloth
• Airtight plastic container

Instructions

1. Mix together about ¼ cup each of plain yogurt, lemon juice or vinegar, and olive oil. Stir them together vigorously with a spoon. This may take a few minutes, but they will blend eventually. Make sure your yogurt is free of flavoring and additives; Greek yogurt is perfect. Use apple cider vinegar if you choose vinegar over lemon juice.

2. Rinse your face gently with cool water to rid your face of dirt and oil accumulated throughout the day. Apply a thick coating of the olive oil mixture to your face and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Rinse it away with cool water and pat your face dry with a soft cloth.

3. Repeat this process each night before going to sleep. The yogurt and olive oil work together to add moisture and nutrients to your skin. Both lemon juice and apple cider vinegar help to lighten uneven tones. The acids exfoliate dead skin cells and kill bacteria that may cause blemishes.

4. Scoop the rest of the mixture into an airtight plastic container. It should remain fresh for about a week.
