Things You'll Need

• 1 tbsp. cornstarch
• 1/4 cup white vinegar
• Small mixing bowls
• 1 quart warm water
• Spray bottles

• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 2 cups water
• 1/4 cup liquid castile soap

Instructions

Vinegar Window Cleaning Solution

1. Combine 1 tbsp. of cornstarch with ¼ cup of white vinegar in a small mixing bowl. Add 1 quart of warm water and stir until the cornstarch dissolves.

2. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Shake the bottle before every use.

3. Spray the vinegar cleaning solution onto the window. Dry the window with crumpled newspaper to prevent streaks from forming.

4. Store the bottle in a dark location.

Lemon Juice Window Cleaning Solution

1. Add ½ cup of lemon juice and 2 cups of water to a small mixing bowl.

2. Pour in ¼ cup of liquid castile soap. Stir until the ingredients mix well.

3. Pour the lemon juice cleaning solution into a spray bottle.

4. Shake the bottle vigorously before each use.

5. Spray the lemon juice cleaning solution onto a window. Dry the window with crumpled newspapers instead of washcloths or paper towels to prevent lint from building.
