Comcast is one of the largest providers of digital cable in the country. Although the basic cable package does not come with any hardware, you do need a cable box connected to the cable when you upgrade the package. Typically a cable installation technician performs the hook up you may want to connect the cable box yourself. This is especially helpful to know if you have moved the location of your TV and need to reconnect your cable box.

  • RCA cables
  • Cable receiver box
  • Coaxial cable
  • TV

Instructions

    • 1

      Connect the coaxial cable running from the wall outlet into the "In" port on the back of the Comcast cable box.

      Plug in the RCA cables into the "Video Out" ports on the cable receiver box. Insert the other end of the cables into the "Video In" port on your television.

      Power on the television and the cable receiver box. Press the "Input" button on your television remote and select "Video." You can now watch your Comcast cable through the connect cable box.
