How to Remove Yellow Paint Specks From a Car
If you have gotten a few paint specks on your car, here's a little secret used by professionals: A simple tool called a clay bar can gently remove surface contaminants, including dirt, sap and any rogue paint specks. Car detailers use clay bars to give a car's surface a deep clean and bring back its original luster. You can purchase clay bars from any car supplies store and remove those pesky paint specks in your own home.

1
Wash the affected area thoroughly. Ensure that all dust and dirt is removed; any impurities sitting on the surface can scratch your car when the clay bar is applied.
-
2
Fill a bucket with clean, warm water and add the soap. Mix well and then pour the mixture into the spray bottle.

3
Spray the area with the soap mixture, ensuring that it is well soaked. If the clay bar is applied to a dry surface, it can damage your car's paint.
-
4
Break off a section of the clay bar. Rub it over the paint specks, backward and forward, without letting the area dry out. Spray the area with additional soap mixture as you work.
-
5
Re-mold the clay bar to expose clean clay if the bar becomes soiled.
-
6
Continue to rub the affected area until the paint specks are gone.
