How to Install Amerimax Premium Hinged Gutter Guards
Amerimax Premium Hinged Gutter Guards are a product made of a curved piece of screening attached to clips snapped onto existing gutters. The screening prevents debris from falling into gutters and reduces the need to clean gutters and downspouts. Amerimax Premium Hinged Gutter Guards do not require any tools to install. Place a ladder on a flat, level surface and extend to be able to reach the gutter easily.

Push two clips per guard onto the outer edge of the gutter. Position the clips so they are approximately one-third of the total length of the screen section from the end of the screen.

Hold the gutter screen on the outside of the gutter so the center of the screen is lower than the edges.

Push the edge of the screen section into the small tabs on the clips.

Fold the screen section into position over the gutter so the center of the screening is higher than the edges.

Continue around the perimeter of the house until all of the gutters have the gutter guards installed over them.

Tips & Warnings
Clean the gutters and downspouts while installing Amerimax Premium Hinged Gutter Guards.
Gutter guards do no prevent small seeds and airborne dirt from entering the gutters. Inspect gutters annually to keep them free of debris.
