How to View Pages Without Scrolling in Dreamweaver MX
Often, when designing web pages in Dreamweaver MX or later versions of Flash, it's helpful to see the entire page to get a better feel for the overall design. However, Dreamweaver's default page view usually lets you see only a small portion of the page at a time. Besides, the program has so many toolbars and palettes cluttering up the application window, hiding even more of the document and causing you to scroll up, down, right and left to see the entire page. You can avoid scrolling around the page with Dreamweaver's "Fit All" view.

1
Open a web page in Dreamweaver. Click "File" on the menu bar, select "Open" to display the Open dialog box. Find the page, select it and then click the "Open" button.
-
2
Click "View" on the menu bar and choose "Fit All." You can now see the entire page without scrolling. However, depending on what toolbars and properties panels you have open, the page display is probably quite small. You can get a larger view by closing some of the toolbars and panels.

3
Click "Window" on the menu bar and choose "Properties." This closes the Properties panel. By default, this panel displays across the bottom of the document window and takes up quite a bit of space.
-
4
Click "View" on the menu bar and choose "Toolbars." This opens a fly-out menu showing you a list of Dreamweaver toolbars. Toolbars are typically displayed across the top of the application window, directly above the document. The toolbars on the fly-out list with check marks beside them are open. You can close an open toolbar by clicking it on the fly-out menu to remove the check mark.

5
Click "View" on the menu bar and choose "Fit All." Depending on which toolbars and panels you closed, the full-page view increases in size, allowing you to see a larger view of the page without scrolling.

Tips & Warnings
If all you need to see is the entire page width without scrolling, click "View" on the menu bar and choose "Fit Width."
If you are not using your computer's display system---the graphics adapter and monitor---at its maximum resolution, you can also adjust these settings to see more of the document page. You can change display resolution from System Preferences (Mac) or Control Panel (Windows). On a Windows machine, click the "Start" button and choose "Control Panel." Depending on your version of Windows, the procedure for navigating to the display controls is slightly different. In Windows 7, for example, click "Hardware and Sound" and then click "Display." On a Mac, click the "Apple" menu and choose "System Preferences" and then select "Displays."
