How to Map Courses on Sky Caddie
Use your Sky Caddie to map your favorite golf courses. Mapping allows the Sky Caddie to store satellite coordinates. The coordinates are then used in conjunction with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to determine yardages to the green during play. Accurate mapping is important, because improper measurements will cause the Sky Caddie to give inaccurate yardages during play.

1
At the golf course you wish to map, turn on the Sky Caddie as you approach the first green. Check the signal strength meter to confirm that the Sky Caddie has acquired a satellite signal.
-
2
Select "SkyCourses" in the Main Menu and then scroll to and select "New Course." Follow the prompts to create a name for the course you are about to map. Use the on-screen keyboard to create the name. After entering the course name, select "Done" to save and to advance to the target screen showing front, back and center locations on the green.

-
3
Record the front of the green first by walking to the front target and stopping. Scroll to the desired target on the Sky Caddie and select "Record." Stand still for five seconds while the Sky Caddie stores the coordinates from the satellite. Repeat for the back and center targets (in that order).
-
4
Repeat Step 3 for each of the remaining 17 greens.
