How to Change Your Browser's Home Page

You can have your browser start up with any page you want, be it a search engine, your home page or something naughty.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet Access
  • Web Browsers

    Internet Explorer 5.0

  1. Step 1

    Open the Tools menu and choose Internet Options.

  2. Step 2

    Make sure the General tab is selected.

  3. Step 3

    Click Use Current in the Home Page area if you're viewing the Web page you want to select.

  4. Step 4

    Type in the URL of the Web page you want if you aren't viewing it.

  5. Step 5

    Click OK.

  6. Netscape Navigator

  7. Step 1

    Open the Options menu and choose General Preferences.

  8. Step 2

    Make sure the Appearance tab is selected.

  9. Step 3

    Type in the address of the Web page you want in the Startup box.

  10. Step 4

    Click OK.
