How to Exit the Windows Magnifier Function

The Windows XP's Magnifier allows you to magnify portions of your computer screen for easier reading if you have a disability or just want to ease the strain on your eyes. Once you are done, however, you may want to exit out of the Magnifier. Fortunately, this process is easy to do, and requires no computer expertise.

      Click the "Start" button, click "All Programs," click "Accessories," click "Accessibility" and then click on "Magnifier."

      Click "OK" to the dialog box that appears and the "Magnifier Settings" window appears.

      Click the "Exit" button in the dialog box to turn off the Magnifier. You can also press "ALT" and "X" together to exit the Magnifier.
