How to Make Dollhouse People
Children enjoy playing with dollhouses as much today as they did in generations past. Collecting dollhouse people can become a lifelong hobby. Some dollhouse people can be expensive to purchase; fortunately, it is fairly cheap and easy to make dollhouse people yourself. You may even be able to make money off this hobby if you get good at it.
Things You'll Need

- Glue
- Beads or buttons
- Wire

Instructions

-
1
Gather pictures of dollhouse people from magazines or the Internet to use as inspiration.
-
2
Use a wooden spool for the body if the person will be fat or short; use a clothespin if the body will be taller or thinner.
-
-
3
Make the doll's head by forming polymer clay into a ball. Put the clay on a baking sheet and bake it according to the manufacturer's directions. Once it has baked, let it cool completely before proceeding.
-
4
Glue the head to the body of the doll. Glue buttons or beads to the clay to make the face.
-
5
Sculpt arms using polymer clay. Poke wire through the arms before baking the clay. A small bit of wire should hang out of the base of each arm. Once the clay is baked and cooled, tie the wire to the wooden spool or clothespin.
-
6
Glue bits of fabric or felt to the body to make clothes.
