How to Change the Blue Apple Boot Screen

Customizing your Apple computer is important, enabling you to feel "at home" with your new purchase. You can change the basic boot screen from the default style to another via the use of a downloadable application called the "BootXChanger." This application enables you to set any image you like to your boot screen, in any color you prefer.

Instructions

1. Click on the page in Resources and download the BootXChanger application.

2. Double-click on the application and follow the onscreen instructions to install it to your computer.

3. Open BootXChanger. Drag and drop your desired boot image to the picture box marked "Boot Image."

4. Press the "Current Image" button and select "Apply" to change your boot image.
