Instructions

    • 1

Wipe your abalone jewelry with a damp cleaning cloth after each time you wear it.

    • 2

Saturate the cleaning cloth with warm, soapy water to clean abalone jewelry if it seems soiled. Wipe the surface of the abalone with the damp cloth and then wipe the abalone stone again with a cloth saturated with water only. Dry the jewelry well.

    • 3

Store the abalone jewelry separately so it is not near any other jewelry. This will keep it clean and will keep it from breaking.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep your abalone jewelry clean by applying hairspray and perfumes before you put the jewelry on. This will prevent overspray from covering the abalone.

  • Do not use chemicals to clean your abalone jewelry. Simple water is usually sufficient and dishwashing soap will suffice when plain water is not effective.

  • Abalone shells chip and break easily. Wear abalone only when you are not engaging in work that could damage the jewelry.
