How to Get Songs on a Flash Drive
A flash drive consists of a flash memory storage device with an integrated USB interface. Users can plug in a flash drive via their computer's USB port and move files ranging from text, images, video, and audio to their flash drive to either save room on their computers or to have more portability with their files. If you would like to save songs to or transfer songs from a flash drive, you can do so by accessing the device's folder in Windows Explorer.

Plug in the flash drive into the computer's USB port.

Click on "My Computer" from the start menu to find your flash drive folder which is usually drive "G." You can also locate the icon of your flash drive at the bottom of your system tray.

Right-click on the song you want to transfer to your flash drive.

Select "Send to.." and then select the drive that represents your flash drive. For example, that drive could be "Removable Disk (G:)."

To transfer songs from a flash drive, double-click on the flash drive icon inside the "My Computer" folder or at the bottom of your system tray.

Locate the song you want to remove, click on it and drag it from the device onto your computer's desktop or other folder on your computer.
