      Pour five cups of white distilled vinegar into the 5 gallon water bottle.

      Fill the rest of the 5 gallon water bottle with distilled bottled water.

      Let the liquids remain inside the 5 gallon water bottle for one hour.

      Empty the liquids from the inside of the 5 gallon water bottle.

      Fill the water bottle with 2 to 3 gallons of water from your faucet.

      Tip the bottle over in order to rinse the bottle.
