1
Find a spot to offer your gift-wrapping service. You need a well trafficked area. A mall, especially on a Saturday or Sunday, is a great choice. You can use an out-of-the-way site, such as a school gymnasium, but you will need to do some heavy advertising.
-
2
Recruit as many volunteers as you can to do the wrapping. Schedule the volunteers to work in two- to three-hour increments. You might want to create a sign-up sheet and allow the volunteers to choose the times they are available to work.

3
Set up a long table for every two workers. Give each worker a box of wrapping supplies. You should begin as soon as Thanksgiving is over.
-
4
Create a price list and set it on the table. You will need one list for each wrapper. When you create your price list, include the costs of the supplies.
-
5
Set out a tip jar and go to work.
-
6
Remove the money you spent on supplies and give the rest to your charity.

Tips & Warnings
Set out separate paper, tape and ribbon for prospective customers who want to do their own wrapping. This is a good way to make a few extra dollars for your charity.
Always get permission to use the location you choose.
