How to Install Mortar Wall Anchors

Things You'll Need
- Electric drill with a masonry bit
- Mortar wall anchors
- Hammer

Hold the drill bit end to end with the anchor to make sure they are the same diameter.

Hold the drill at a 90-degree angle to the wall where the anchor is to be installed, and evenly drill the hole. Make sure that the drill is not slanted, because that will make the installation weaker.

Insert the anchor into the hole and press it in by hand as far as possible.

Tap the anchor with a hammer gently to make it flush with the wall if necessary.
