How to Make Homemade Skin Cream
Commercial skin creams are known for their restorative qualities such as treating wrinkles. There are many companies that sell creams and some of them cost hundreds of dollars. Luckily, there are plenty of recipes you can use at home to create your own skin creams using some ingredients you might already have around the house. Things You'll Need
- Honey
- Half-and-half
- Peach
- Pumpkin flesh
- Instant coffee
- Egg whites
- Blender
- Water
- Distilled water
- Bowl
- Liquid lecithin
- Olive oil
- Avocado
- Almond oil
- Spoon
- White potato
- Food processor
- Unsweetened applesauce
- Washcloth
Instructions

Method One: Conditioning Body Mask

Place 2 teaspoons honey, 2 tablespoons half-and-half, one-half of a peach with the skin still on, 1/2 cup fresh chopped pumpkin flesh, 1/8 teaspoon instant coffee and two egg whites into a blender.

Blend the ingredients on low until lightly beaten. The time will vary depending on your blender.

Apply the finished cream to your skin by spreading it on, not rubbing. It can be applied to your entire body.

Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Method Two: Homemade Skin Cream

Place 1/2 cup distilled water into a small bowl.

Add 1 tablespoon liquid lecithin to the bowl of water. Lecithin can be purchased at beauty supply stores as well as health food stores.

Add 1/2 cup of olive oil. If you prefer, you can use other oils such as almond oil, grape seed oil or macadamia nut oil.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly. The completed cream can be massaged into your skin and left on like a lotion.
Method Three: Avocado Wrinkle Cream

Place one-fourth of an avocado without the skin into a small bowl.

Add five drops almond oil to the bowl of avocado.

Use the back of a spoon to crush the avocado and mix the oil in.

Apply the cream to your face where you have wrinkles and leave on for five minutes.

Wash the avocado cream away using clean warm water.
Method Four: Potato and Applesauce Eye Cream

Peel and cut up one small white potato and place it into a food processor.

Add 2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce to the food processor as well.

Mix the two ingredients until it forms a pastey cream.

Apply the cream to the skin under your eyes and cover your entire face with a wet warm washcloth.

Leave it in place for 10 minutes before rinsing it with warm water.

Tips & Warnings
For method two, you can add additional ingredients to the mixture if you desire. You can add essential oils or herbs to the mixture.
