How to Set Up a Price Watch

Set up a price watch to get the best deal.

The ability to make purchases on the Internet has forever changed the way the world does business. The Internet allows us to buy products from all over the world and search for excellent discounts in the process. It can be quite frustrating, though, to miss out on good deals as prices fluctuate. Fortunately, you can set up a price watch on a product---and receive automatic alerts when prices change---so you can get the best deal without wasting time continuously checking prices.

Instructions

1. Select the product that you want to set up a price watch on. Go to the Web page where the product is being sold. This is the page that will allow you to add the product to your shopping cart.

2. Make a copy of the URL. Go to the top of your Web browser with your mouse and highlight the complete URL, and then right-click on your mouse and select "Copy." You can also make a copy after highlighting the URL by holding "Ctrl" and hitting "C."

3. Open a new window in your Web browser and enter the domain www.priceplease.com. Once you are on the website, paste the URL of the product from the previous step into the provided box. Click on the box, then right-click and select "Paste." Alternatively you can hold down "Ctrl" and press "V." Once you have entered the product URL in the provided box, click on "Find my Product."

4. Complete the box provided by entering your email and then clicking on the box to accept the terms and conditions.

5. Confirm your price watch. Open your email account inbox and find the email from PricePlease. Click the confirmation link in the email in order to activate the price watch.
