      Wet the corrugated plastic item with water. If it is a larger object, you can take the it outside near a garden hose to clean. Small to medium objects can be cleaned in the sink or bathtub. The water can be cold or warm, but hot water will work best on filmy or greasy plastic surfaces.

      Scrub, in a back-and-forth motion, the corrugated plastic with the sponge. If you have a particularly dirty or filmy plastic item, a sponge with a mild abrasive side will work well. According to ABC Packaging, "Not only will plastic corrugate outlast paper by 20 to 40 times, but it can also be cleaned with soap and water, to be used again and again."
