How to Recharge the Battery on a Dell Inspiron

Charge your laptop when the battery starts to die.

You don't want your laptop battery dying while you're in the middle of working on something important. To charge Dell Inspiron laptops, you just need the laptop and the A/C adapter that came with it, no special charger is needed. You can tell if your battery is running low by the battery icon at the bottom, right corner of the screen. If the battery icon is empty you need to charge it as soon as possible.

• Dell A/C adapter

Instructions

1. Ensure the battery is attached to the laptop.

2. Find an open wall outlet in your home or wherever you may be.

3. Plug the A/C adapter into the wall outlet.

4. Plug the other side of the adapter into the matching port on the side of the laptop. The battery will charge whether the laptop is on or off. You can use the laptop while it is charging.
