How to Video Chat With iChat
Video conferencing and chatting has changed the way we communicate with each other. You can use video chatting to talk face-to-face to anyone with an Internet connection, anywhere around the world. Mac computers come with a program called iChat that allows you to connect to your favorite instant messaging programs, and use them to easily video chat with anyone on your buddy list.

Open iChat by clicking the icon located on your computer's dock. The icon looks like a blue speech bubble, with a white camera inside it.

Select the friend you would like to video chat with.

Make sure that he has video capabilities before you attempt to connect. His screen name will have a green box with a white camera next to it if he has video capabilities.

Click the Green video button next to his name to connect. This will open a new window.

Wait for the user to accept the video request. When he confirms it, his image will automatically appear in the video chat window.
