How to Remove My Address From a Mailing List
At times, you will realize that you are receiving email from mailing lists that are no long useful to you. These unwanted emails can clog up your inbox and your email server. They can also lead to you missing important email messages since they will populate your inbox. It take a little work on your part, but it is a relatively simple process to remove your email address from a mailing list.

Open an email that you have received as a result of being on a mailing list.

Search for an unsubscribe link or remove my email link. These type of links are usually at the bottom of the email.

Click on the link. The page that you are sent to either will require you to type in your email address or do it for you.

Click the "Unsubscribe" button if there is one. Most lists will indicate how long it will take to remove your email address.

Check your email after the time indicated in Step 4 to see whether you received an message resulting in still being on the mailing list. If so, try Steps 1 to 4 again or use that "contact us" email address to make your request to unsubscribe. This email address typically can be found near the unsubscribe link.
