George Foreman grills are grills that are designed to be used indoors. They work to drain out the fats from the food so that the consumer ends up with a healthier meal. Many George Foreman grills do not contain a temperature gauge. You just have to plug them in and wait for them to preheat. Some other models, however, such as the GRP4VT do contain a temperature gauge that you can use to set the specific temperature of your grill. Does this Spark an idea?

      Plug your George Foreman grill in to an 120V AC outlet.

      Press the "power" button so that you turn the grill on. It will automatically displace 300 degrees F, but you can change this.

      Look for the "-" and the "+" symbols on your grill. These settings will allow you to adjust the temperature of your grill. The range you are allowed to use is between 300 and 425 degrees F.

      Press the "+" button to increase the temperature of your George Foreman grill. The temperature will go up in 25-degree increments.

      Press the "-" button to decrease the temperature of your George Foreman grill if you went past your desired number. The temperature will also decrease in 25-degree increments.

      Wait five minutes for the grill to preheat to your designated temperature.

Tips & Warnings

  • Only use the spatula that comes with the grill to remove your food.

  • This grill will produce steam. Make sure that you leave the lid shut when you are not placing or removing food from it.
