How to Install Toontown ActiveX

ToonTown is an online game created and supported by Disney. In order to play the game you need to have a paid online subscription account through the Disney.com ToonTown website. Before you can begin playing the ToonTown game, you must first download the ActiveX application. This is a graphics program that enables the graphics to function properly.

Things You'll Need

• Internet browser
• ToonTown account

Instructions

1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Disney.com ToonTown online game (see Resources). Log into your account and click the "Download" option.

2. Select "Download Now." If a small text bar appears at the top of your web browser click it and select "Allow ActiveX Download." Click the "Download Now" button again and the ActiveX application downloads to your computer.

3. Double-click the downloaded file, then select "Yes," followed by "Install." Another small window appears asking if you are sure you want to install ActiveX. Click "Yes" and the ActiveX installs on your computer. Once complete, you are set to begin playing Disney ToonTown.
