How to Use a Handheld Vaporizer

Herbal vaporizers use heat to vaporize the herbs so that the user can then inhale the vapor. Vaporizers use the principle of convection which transfers heat from one source to another. Air is pulled in, heated and then transferred to the herbs. The herbs then begin to heat and vaporize. Using a herbal vaporizer is typically more potent that actually smoking the herbs, so care should be taken when using a vaporizer for the first time.

Handheld vaporizers are compact and easy to use. They require no electricity or batteries to operate.

Instructions

1. Grind your herb mixture using a grinder until it has a fine texture.

2. Disassemble the handheld vaporizer by unscrewing the bulb from the mouthpiece. Place the ground herb into the glass bulb and screw the bulb back to the mouthpiece, taking care not to spill the contents.

3. Use a lighter to hold a flame underneath the bulb, or bowl, of the vaporizer. Slowly rotate the bulb while you are holding the flame underneath it until vapor begins to from in the bulb.

4. Inhale through the mouthpiece once the vapors have formed in the bulb. Repeat this process until you are finished using you handheld vaporizer.
